With the New Year upon us, many will be thinking about making some new resolutions for 2017. It occurred to me that God may have some resolutions that He would like for us to make. I searched the scriptures and found these, and decided that they will be mine for 2017.
B.) Without ceasing – 1 Thessalonians 5:17
C.) For the peace of Jerusalem – Psalms 122:6
D.) For those that spitefully use me – Luke 6:28
How to pray
a. Don’t seek revenge; treat enemies well –
Romans 12:17-21
b. Ask in His (Jesus’) name –
John 14:13, 15:16, 16:23-24
c. Believing –
Matthew 2:22, Mark 11:24, John 15:7
d. Ask for wisdom –
James1:5
e. According to His will –
1 John 5:14-15
f. Keep His commandments and do things
pleasing to Him – 1 John 3:22
h. Abide in Him –
John 15:7,
5. Take care of my body – 1 Corinthians 3:16-17, Romans 12:1
